Domodedovo Jan–Jun IFRS net profit plummets 74% to 884 mln rbl
MOSCOW, Nov 14 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russia’s Domodedovo International Airport plummeted about 74% on the year to 884 million rubles in January–June, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) following a decline of the ruble, the company said in a report late on Tuesday.
Revenue went up 7.8% on the year to 19.8 billion rubles in the period.
A representative of the company said that contraction of the ruble against the U.S. dollar in the period resulted in a 2.626 billion ruble negative impact from currency exchange differences, the main reason of the net profit’s plunge.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) grew 4.4% to 6.355 billion rubles, while the EBITDA margin shrank 1 percentage point to 32%.
Long-term liabilities of the airport rose about 40% in the period to 59.4 billion rubles as of the end of June, while short-term liabilities almost tripled to 37.2 billion rubles.
